Youth clubs for youth at risk
This project runs twice a week in the Kiryat Menachem and Gilo neighborhoods of Jerusalem. Working with 9th and 12th graders at risk, the facility provides a bridge between the participants and the local community services.
The project directs the students to the appropriate authorities in times of need and distress, explains the importance of seeking help and provides detailed instructions for the right procedures to follow. It also provides warm drinks, food and an attentive ear to relieve the daily stress. A dedicated coordinator and permanent staff of volunteers are always present.
